GT.M provides an ANSI standard M language compiler and run-time environment to facilitate application program development.

OpenVMS users require no special privileges to run GT.M beyond standard OpenVMS UNIX system access and suitable access to relevant application and database files. All the standard OpenVMS security features are available to protect GT.M resources.
