Although there is a tremendous amount of standard functionality built into the Empower applications, FIS is continually listening to partners and enhancing the application. Customers benefit from the increased control, through Empower's various tools, to modify their system without having to be “held hostage” by their vendor.
Customize Without Sacrificing Data Integrity
An issue that often arises when purchasing a software product that can be enhanced or modified is that some of these products do not provide the lender with a robust development environment to meet their business requirements. Too often, modifications to the delivered package ultimately prevent the lender from incorporating future version updates from the vendor.
FIS Empower has gone to great lengths with the design and architecture of Empower to ensure that a client partner’s custom work will not be overwritten with future upgrades/releases. Empower provides a “best practices” user guide to insure scalability, data integrity and performance.

FIS Empower is built on superior support and service. National support is handled centrally in Sharon, Pennsylvania through our toll-free support lines and the Internet. All support calls are logged and tracked, providing staff with instant access to partners’ profiles and support history. FIS Empower has a five-to-one ratio of support associates to client partners. The average tenure of an associate is three and one half years, and they have extensive experience in mortgage banking as well as bachelor degrees in computer science and mathematics. Ninety nine percent of inbound calls are directly answered by an Empower associate.
