Flexibility is the key architectural advantage to BASE2000, and Qualification Set (Q-Set) Technology is the unique, proprietary feature that maximizes your ability to treat accounts within a single product differently. Q-Sets work throughout the architectural levels to establish options.
Q-Sets utilize client defined criteria for transaction routing to specific pricing plans and disqualification of transactions and balances from pricing plans to select which accounts qualify for a given business process. Once an account is “qualified” you define both the action to be performed and the calculation formula to be used. For example: Q-Sets can be used to reward high volume accounts by waiving annual fees or penalize a nonperforming account by changing the finance charge rate structure. You control the decision; Q-Sets implements the action, including statement messages and account holder notification letters.
Once a Q-Set is defined it is usable for any business process, including:
- Automatic credit limit increase/decrease
- Assessment, such as annual, overlimit, miscellaneous and transaction fees.
- Statement inserts and messages
- Letter writing
- Minimum payment calculation
- Reissue
- Collections (account selection and routing of accounts into collection account classifications or queues)
