Transax provides comprehensive protection against bad debt, fraud and all other risks associated with accepting checks. When you are presented with a personal or business check of any value, you can authorise the check safe in the knowledge that if it is returned unpaid, we will pay you.
We can also provide the Transax service to those who accept checks via mail order, cheque on delivery, or post dated. And we can also offer floor limit solutions.
Once you become a Transax member, you can start to use the service on the same day. You can authorise cheques by calling one of our operators, or by using our voice response system, or by using an epos terminal. We will ask you for the value of the cheque and some other basic data – and give you an authorisation code in a matter of seconds. As easy as that!
Payment by check is still a preferred or possible method of payment for millions of consumers and is as popular as ever for business payments. When you let your customers know that you will accept checks for any value, you enable them to buy from you with a payment option that for many is more convenient than cash – especially for high value items!

As with our standard Transax Check Authorization Services, personal 'Salary Advance' and third Party issued business checks can be authorized and cashed, secure in the knowledge that if they are returned unpaid, we'll reimburse you.

We deliver excellent debt recovery rates, which can be attributed to effective techniques and leading edge systems. We also maintain a unique 'At Risk Negative File' which effectively blocks further spending by debtors within our 100,000 strong merchant base – a proven technique that encourages timely payment of debt.
