J. Stan Conner is FIS' senior vice president of sales for Commercial Technology. In this role, he is responsible for sales and strategic sourcing of FIS’ technology services.

Conner has previously worked as vice president of sales at FIS in the following areas: technology, outsourcing, Mortgage Servicing Package and Interchange. With more than 20 years experience in the mortgage industry and 14 years experience with technology, Conner has also served as chief operating officer for both SMS – Geotrac and Mortgage Systems International.

Conner has his M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Sciences with a specialization in International Business. He is involved with the Jacksonville University and Walden University alumni associations, as well as the Jacksonville Economic Roundtable.

Conner also works with Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society and the Cancer Society. In addition, he serves as a college scholarship sponsor and works on Evangel Temple missionary projects.

Conner has spoken to the industry on such topics as hiring practices, outsourcing, disaster recovery, capacity planning and data communications. Additionally, he speaks on the topic of international business at various forums.
