As executive vice president for new solutions development, Michel Jacobs is responsible for defining and realizing new solutions within FIS’ Strategic Development division. In this role, Jacobs translates industry and market trends into new solutions – leveraging FIS’ wide array of products and services. Jacobs initiates and supports marketing and sales engagements surrounding new strategic solutions and then identifies and engages strategic channel partners.

Prior to joining FIS, Jacobs served as senior vice president of new solutions development of eFunds in Scottsdale, Ariz., and vice president of channel development for S2 Systems in Dallas.

Jacobs is from the Netherlands, where he graduated college with a degree in computer science. He also served in the Dutch Air Force before moving his family to the United States in 2000. Jacobs now calls Ponte Vedra, Fla., home, where he and his wife enjoy riding their motorcycles along the scenic coastal highways and spending time with their three children.
