As EVP of FIS’ Strategic Development division, John Gordon is responsible for the strategic vision, development and delivery of all large and mid-tier retail banking products worldwide. Product funding decisions, as well as product management and development, all core and custom engineering decisions, product QA, performance certification and technical architecture/direction decisions all go through Gordon.

Prior to these responsibilities, Gordon served as executive vice president of core banking and integration products for FIS, and assistant director of advanced technologies for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A popular and dynamic speaker, Gordon has a double major in economics and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame and earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Gordon resides in Atlantic Beach, Florida with his wife, Betsy, where they cheer on their son’s Penn State Nittany Lions and their daughter’s Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
