
John Amatangelo is executive vice president for Fidelity National Information Service’s Enterprise Banking Solutions division. In this role, he is responsible for the Client Account Management Group which handles relationship management, business development and the delivery of outsourcing and software solutions for large U.S. financial services clients. He is also responsible for Enterprise Support Solutions which includes Worldwide Help Desk, Profile Client Services, Profile ASP Support, Touchpoint Distributed System Support, Systematics ASP Support, Mainframe Professional Services and Bank Operations Outsourcing.
Amatangelo joined FIS in 1996. Previously, as a senior vice president, his responsibilities included general manager for retail banking, managing director for the Americas market segment, and managing director for banking operations.
Amatangelo brought to FIS more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. He was president of a bank services company which provided data processing, deposit operations, item processing, loan operations, mortgage servicing, loan underwriting, financial reporting, procurement services, facilities management, and call center services for 14 affiliated banks. Amatangelo has also been chief information officer and head of retail banking at other banking companies.
Amatangelo holds a bachelor of science degree with a double major in mathematics and biological sciences from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He did graduate work at Kent State and at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
