Randy Fluitt
EVP, Payment Services

Randy Fluitt

Randy Fluitt was EVP of operations for FIS’ Integrated Financial Solutions division until the acquisition of Certegy in February 2006, at which time Fluitt assumed responsibility for payment services. Payment services provides a broad selection of products and services through approximately 50 locations to more than 1,700 financial institutions. 

 

Fluitt’s financial career began with Bank of the Southwest in Houston, Texas where he advanced into senior management responsible for statewide data processing and bank operations.

 

In 1979, Fluitt joined Affiliated Computer Systems (ACS), which subsequently changed its name to MTECH. As EVP of ACS/MTECH, he oversaw numerous acquisitions, participating in the company’s initial public offering and subsequent acquisition by Electronic Data Systems (EDS). As VP of EDS’ Financial Services division, his responsibilities included operations, sales and marketing and global consulting.

 

Fluitt left EDS to join Bankline, Inc. as the company’s president. Through multiple acquisitions, Bankline tripled in size before being acquired by InterCept, where Fluitt became EVP of the combined companies. InterCept was acquired by FIS in November 2004. 

 

Fluitt's education is in programming and data processing and he holds a Bachelor of Theology degree in Christian Education.
