The systems management team is responsible for ongoing system availability and response time. At any given time, we support over 2,000 users on our system. Additionally, our customers have the convenience of accessing the system via ATM’s located worldwide.

Fidelity Data Services maintains two systems; the main system is located at our data center with a fully operational backup system at a hot site location. Both systems utilize a minimum of four CPU’s, 700MB of disk and 16GB of memory. During the second Quarter of 2003, we converted both locations to a Sun Microsystems Server and system availability has been 100% since the implementation. 

The responsibilities of our systems management team include:

• Operating system tuning including more than 100 parameters
• Monitoring usage levels of CPU’s, memory and disk space
• Synchronizing two systems nightly
• Diagnosing system messages to avoid device failures
