
Fred Parvey is executive vice president and chief information officer of Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). In this role he is responsible for FIS' technology arm – Fidelity National Technology Solutions (FTS).
Fred has more than 23 years experience with FIS and its predecessor companies. When Alltel Information Services, Inc. (f.k.a. Computer Power, Inc.) was acquired by Fidelity National Financial in 2003, Fred was senior vice president of U.S. Operations in the Mortgage Division. Prior to 1992, Fred worked in the technology division where he rose through the ranks through various technical positions up to manager of the data center and its related operations.
As CIO for FIS, Fred is responsible for the myriad of technology services that support FIS’ internal employees as well as external customers. His overriding goal is to align technology decisions with the business strategy, improve FTS efficiencies and reduce costs while maintaining a high level of focus on customer needs. Specific responsibilities include the operation of several large data centers; all technical infrastructure management; management of customer support centers and technical help desks; development and management of the internal applications and services which support employees; hosting and management of the mission-critical applications for external customers; establishing architectural standards and guidelines; and establishing the strategic plan for FTS.
Fred served in the United States Coast Guard and was honorably discharged in 1973. Fred is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a Masters of Business Administration degree. He is a board member for the Northern Florida Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and serves on the National Board of Directors as well. Additionally, Fred serves on the board of the Northeast Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross and as vice president of the Economic Roundtable of Jacksonville.
