William C. Roese is senior vice president of risk management and product development for Certegy Check Services, a division of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc., located in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was named to his current position in April 2006 and is responsible for the overall risk account management, fraud prevention, pricing, business system development, research, analytical modeling, strategy and product development for Certegy Check Services in North America.

Roese joined Certegy in 1996 and has held various management positions within the Check Services Risk Management group. He was promoted to vice president for risk management in November 2000. 

Prior to joining Certegy, Roese was a senior financial analyst for Raytheon Engineers and Constructors from 1991 until 1996.

Roese earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of South Florida in 1988.

A native of Ohio, Roese and his wife Monica now reside in Lutz, Fla., with their two children.
