Renz Nichols is president of FIS' Risk Management and Analytics division. Prior to this position, Nichols was senior vice president and general manager for Certegy’s North American check business, chief financial officer for Certegy’s global check business, senior vice president and general manager of Certegy’s Latin American card business, vice president of North American card operations, and vice president and group controller of payment services.

Prior to joining FIS, Nichols was corporate controller of Mighty Distributing System of America, Inc., a franchisor in the wholesale automotive parts business. Nichols also held financial management positions at Hayes Microcomputer Products after beginning his career in Arthur Andersen & Co.’s audit practice.

A native of Florida, Nichols received his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in accounting from the University of West Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Emory University’s Executive Development Consortium.
