Having worked at FIS, Certegy and Equifax, Jay has more than 15 years of consulting and financial services experience.  He is now responsible for identifying and directing process improvements within the FIS Portfolio Management Consulting business. 

As a consultant, Jay works directly with executive managers and operational staff to align their card programs with their financial institution’s strategic objectives.  He helps our clients build profitable long-term cardholder relationships by responding to card portfolio behaviors and actively managing portfolio performance. 

Prior to joining the FIS Portfolio Management team, Jay had been working directly with credit unions and community banks in a variety of capacities including Business Development, Client Relations and Customer Service.  During this time, Jay developed a diagnostic approach to understanding card processes – helping clients minimize operational risks and improving card portfolio performance. Jay provides a deep operational background and strategic perspective when working with our clients to develop their card programs. 

As a card operations expert, Jay is frequently requested as a speaker for national and regional card conferences. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University as well as a M.S. degree from the University of South Florida.
