Ram Chary leads the Global Commercial Services for FIS. In this role, Chary manages business functions important to company growth and profitability related to global contact center operations, off-shore resources, technology opportunities, global supply chain operations and commercial technology services. He previously led the technology division for FIS and made tremendous contributions by eliminating cost, rationalizing investments, and improving the quality of technology service delivery.

Chary joined FIS in 2007 from the acquisition of eFunds, where he led the company’s Professional Services organization. Prior to eFunds, he had a 13-year career at IBM Global Services in infrastructure outsourcing and technology consulting, and also served in a number of leadership roles in global operations and finance. His most recent industry focus at IBM was in the financial services sector, where he successfully grew the business through the sale of large outsourcing agreements with major financial institutions.

Chary received an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in finance and operations management from Purdue University.
