George Scanlon is executive vice president of Finance at FIS. He brings nearly three decades of professional accounting, audit and financial management expertise to this role.
Scanlon joined FIS from BFC Financial Corporation and Levitt Corporation – both diversified holding companies based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In these roles, he served as chief financial officer. Scanlon was responsible for financial reporting and planning, treasury, managing SEC compliance, investor relations and information technology.
Previously, he served as senior vice president at Ryder System, Inc. in Miami, where he held controller, corporate planning and development responsibilities. Scanlon began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.
Scanlon holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
