Frank D'Angelo
Executive Vice President, Payment Solutions

Frank D’Angelo is executive vice president of Payment Solutions at FIS. In this role, he is responsible for establishing the strategic direction, profitability and long-range growth of the company’s payment solutions business. D’Angelo joined FIS in October 2009 with the company’s acquisition of Metavante Corporation.

Previously, D’Angelo served as senior executive vice president of Metavante Corporation and president of the company’s Payment Solutions Group.

D’Angelo also served as chairman of the board for Everlink, a Metavante Canadian EFT processing joint venture, and chairman of the board for Monitise Americas, a U.S. mobile financial solutions joint venture. He also served on Metavante’s Executive Committee.

D’Angelo joined Metavante in 1997 as vice president and general manager of EFT and Card solutions, and brought with him 28 years of financial services experience in general management, operations and sales. He spent 19 years with Diebold in senior management positions in sales, development, operations, product management and information services operations. While with Diebold, he spent two years in Mexico as president and chief executive officer of Diebold Mexico, a $50 million division.

Prior to joining Diebold, D’Angelo was with Burroughs Corporation, now Unisys, for 10 years and was active in product management, sales, sales development and operational support. Previously, he was in the U.S. Air Force, where he spent four years on the Strategic Air Command computer technology staff. Prior to that, he spent two years with IBM developing advanced integrated circuits in the Components Division.

He serves on the Electronic Transactions Association Advisory Council, the Philadelphia Federal Payments Council, the Advisory Board of Walsh College, and on the board of directors of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association.

D’Angelo has a bachelor’s degree in management from Walsh College in Canton, Ohio. He also has completed courses at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, Michigan State University and Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
